What "Crawlability" Means
- Crawlability ≠ Indexability — crawlable means Google can READ it; indexable means Google will INDEX it
- Common blockers: robots.txt disallow rules, meta noindex, X-Robots-Tag header, server errors, password protection
- Sitemap submission speeds up discovery but is not required
- Deep pages (more than 4 clicks from homepage) get crawled less often
